QA/QI Specialist QA Team reporting to Associate Quality Director
The Cell Manipulation Core Facility is accepting applications for a QA/QI Specialist. This role reports directly to the Associate Quality Director and is responsible for monitoring operations and developing and managing quality improvement initiatives to ensure that systems are safe, effective, appropriate, compliant, current and adhered to by staff in the assigned unit or department. Expected to understand and apply principles of quality management practices to the monitoring and improvement of the operations for the unit(s) assigned. Key areas of focus may include patient and staff safety, clinical laboratory, cell processing, donor blood product collections, tissue banking, clinical operations, and other specified departmental procedures and policies as assigned. Plays key role in supporting preparation and on-site support during site surveys and audits by regulatory agencies. Works with multidisciplinary teams and may be assigned to work under the direction of physician or nursing staff for assigned initiatives.
Cell Processing QC Specialist Cellular Therapy Testing Lab (CTTL) reporting to CTTL Manager The Cell Processing Quality Control Specialist I trains and becomes competent at performing, interpreting and reporting for quality control assays required for cellular product evaluation. Responsible for the quality control (QC) of reagents, supplies, facility environmental testing, laboratory equipment maintenance and QC performed in the Cell Manipulation Core Facility. The Cell Processing Quality Control Specialist I is responsible for QC procedures that are performed under the highest standards of quality in a timely manner while minimizing costs. The schedule for this position is 10:00am-6:30pm Monday - Friday.
Systems Administrator Systems Administrator II reporting to Systems Manager
The Cell Manipulation Core Facility (CMCF) is accepting applications for a Systems Administrator. This individual will work within the CMCF to help support and manage systems across the Cell Therapy (CT) Networks by implementation and validation of computer systems impacting the department and CT program. They will work in conjunction with the project teams for Partners Healthcare System and CMCF technical staff as well as working with DFCI and MGB on enterprise systems such as Epic and Sunquest. Systems will include but are not limited to Partners Order Entry System for Biological Products (BOE/BPAA), Eceptionist, Sunquest, REES Environmental Monitoring systems, Internal Server systems, CMCF FileMaker Databases, FreezerWorks Bio-Repository system selected MES, and other internal systems such as Microsoft Access and Filemaker databases.
Research Associate Research and Development Team reporting to Technical Director
The Cell Manipulation Core Facility is accepting applications for a Cell Processing Specialist to join the growing Research and Development team. This individual will receive on the job training in order to perform a variety of tasks to provide the highest quality products for patients receiving more than minimally manipulated cellular therapy products on clinical trials. These trials include Gene Therapy, Cancer Vaccines, Immuno-effector Cells including CAR-T cells, Induced Progenitor Cells (iPS), Mesenchymal Stromal Cells, Adoptive Immunotherapy and other innovative therapies.
At this time we do not have any openings on our cell processing teams for Cell Therapy Processing Specialist. As we routinely have openings on these teams, we encourage individuals interested in these types of roles to reach out to the Directors of our two processing labs, Novel Cell Therapy (NCT) and Stem Cell Therapy (SCT). Individuals on these teams provide a variety of tasks to provide the highest quality minimally and more than minimally manipulated cellular therapy products.
Materials Management Technician Materials Management Team reporting to Materials Management Supervisor
The Cell Manipulation Core Facility is accepting applications for a Materials Management Technician. This role reports directly to the Business Director of the Cell Manipulation Core Facility. Performs a variety of duties to receive, distribute, assemble and store incoming materials, instruments, supplies, and small equipment into storage or user departments as directed. Also performs all materials receipt, disbursement and related activities as directed. This group is responsible for inspection of incoming packaging components and raw materials to determine their conformance with quality standards and cGMPs. Provide support to management for activities related to incoming inspections of primary/secondary packaging materials. Clinical Lab Assistant Clinical Lab Assistant reporting to Business Director
The Cell Manipulation Core Facility (CMCF) is accepting applications for a Clinical Lab Assistant. This individual will receive on the job training to be able to perform a variety of tasks to support the Stem Cell Transplant Lab, Novel Cell Therapy Lab and Cellular Therapy Testing Lab. The schedule for this position is 1:30pm-10:00pm Monday - Friday.
